Rose Court Chambers is delighted to welcome Rochelle Collins, a highly experienced criminal defence barrister, who joined chambers on Monday, 13 April.
Rochelle is recognised for her work in the most serious and complex criminal law cases, regularly appearing in the Crown Court, the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey), and the Court of Appeal. Her practice covers a wide range of serious criminal offences, including murder and manslaughter, serious sexual offences, organised crime, firearms conspiracies, fraud, human trafficking, and appellate advocacy.

With over 20 years of frontline experience in criminal defence, Rochelle brings exceptional strategic insight and powerful courtroom advocacy. Before being called to the Bar, she practised for 14 years as a Duty Solicitor and spent a further 10 years as a Higher Court Advocate. This rare background gives her a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system, from police station advice through to complex appeals.
As an accredited Police Station Representative, Rochelle is particularly well placed to advise clients at the earliest stage of a criminal investigation, ensuring their rights are protected and a strong defence strategy is established from the outset.
Rochelle is regularly instructed as Leading Junior, as junior counsel alone, and alongside King’s Counsel in high-value, multi-handed, and document-heavy Crown Court trials. She is known for her meticulous preparation, ability to manage complex evidence, and proven track record in serious and high-profile cases.
