Professional Profile
Rochelle is a highly experienced criminal defence barrister with a strong reputation for representing clients in the most serious and complex criminal cases across the Crown Court, Central Criminal Court, and Court of Appeal.
Her practice covers the full spectrum of criminal law, including murder and manslaughter, serious sexual offences, serious organised crime, firearms conspiracies, fraud, human trafficking, serious violence, and appellate work.
With more than 20 years of frontline criminal defence experience, Rochelle brings exceptional strategic insight and courtroom advocacy to every case. Before being called to the Bar, she practised for 14 years as a Duty Solicitor and spent a further 10 years as a Higher Court Advocate, giving her rare depth of experience from police station representation through to appeal proceedings.
As an accredited Police Station Representative, Rochelle is particularly well placed to protect clients from the earliest stages of an investigation, ensuring procedural fairness, safeguarding legal rights, and building the defence case from the outset.
She is regularly instructed as Leading Junior, Junior Counsel alone, and alongside King’s Counsel, particularly in high-value, multi-handed, and document-heavy criminal trials.
