Mark Hemming is a highly experienced and polished advocate with over 30 years’ experience in dispute resolution, problem-solving and advocacy. He practised as a Solicitor for 16 years in private practice, achieving and regularly exercising Higher Rights of Audience in both criminal and civil jurisdictions, including as a Partner and Director of a legal practice. Mark is adept at handling a wide array of criminal and family matters, with particular expertise in Proceeds of Crime Act proceedings and cyber-related offences. He is unfazed by the complexity or variety of instructions and is known for his ability to adapt swiftly to modern and emerging areas of law.
Mark has significant experience acting as a Police Force Solicitor, regularly instructing in appeals against firearm and shotgun certificate revocations, applications for civil orders and disciplinary proceedings. He has also successfully defended senior officers, including a Chief Constable, in High Court proceedings.
